Naturally, Sports Injuries are the most common type of injury we see here at the clinic, alongside lower back pain. These injuries can vary from muscle sprains and strains, to ligament tears and fractures. With participation in sport being at an all time high, sport injuries are becoming more common.
Sport injuries can include hamstring strains, calf strains, knee ligament injuries, ACL ruptures, ankle sprains and shoulder injuries (to name a few). Depending on the injury, these can take a number of days, up to a year to rehabilitate. The most common sports injuries we see come from football, rugby, golf, hockey, netball, cricket, running, cycling, crossfit and gymnastics. However we see injuries from all sports, and from those who play on the weekend socially – all the way through to professional athletes.
