Ben has a background in running and swimming training and programming, having competed at the highest standard in national athletics, running 800m at the British Championships and placing in the top 5o in the country. Throughout this time, Ben struggled with recurring injuries which curtailed his progression as a runner, but sparked an interest in physical rehabilitation and training in elite sport. This led to studying Sport and Exercise Science and Psychology, and then Psychology at Masters level.
Having completed his degree, he then became a Personal Trainer, with the ambition to offer his knowledge and expertise from elite level sport to the general public. Ben is able to work with people of all ages and abilities, and has a relaxed but empowering style. Outside of work and sport, Ben enjoys hiking and exploring the wilderness, and when the weather gets in the way, a good TV series or film.
