Charlotte George

Since graduating from Cardiff University, Charlotte has been exposed to a wide variety of clinical conditions within the NHS and professional sport. Her experience includes working within a hospital environment, treating patients after strokes and whilst in intensive care, as well as operating as part of the fracture rehabilitation team.

Charlotte worked with Scarlets rugby in Wales, covering the team on match days and in training sessions. Last season, Charlotte was the lead physiotherapist for Cheshunt FC in their promotion season. Charlotte has a belief that for optimum results, both ‘hands on’ and exercise-based treatment must work side by side. She uses her skills in acupuncture, dry needling, deep tissue massage and kinesiotaping to ensure quick recovery, and where possible, to keep the player on the field. Charlotte is also a qualified Shockwave Therapy practitioner – a specialist treatment technique for tendon injuries. She is our lead physiotherapist for geriatric patients who struggle with pain, mobility, balance and confidence.

Charlotte specialist interest lies in Women’s Health and Ante/Post-Natal Physiotherapy. She is a qualified ‘Mummy MOT’ practitioner – the gold standard assessment tools for new mums. She works with women during and after pregnancy who can suffer with a variety of issues such as incontinence, scar tissue, diastasis recti and pelvic pain.

Away from the clinic, Charlotte enjoys baking, karate and walking her dog.
