Yoga is a type of exercise which focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to improve physical and mental wellbeing. It has been proven to be a safe and effective type of exercise by dozens of scientific trials. Yoga has been shown to be beneficial for those with high blood pressure and heart disease, as well as muscular injuries (including lower back pain) and depression and anxiety. Yoga is also popular with people suffering from arthritis as a way of promoting movement and strength.
We run two classes, specially designed with our clients in mind. They are led by Trisha Champaneri – a highly in demand instructor. Why not try your first class for free and see if Yoga can help you.
Through a series of yoga postures selected to improve spinal alignment, we will make space throughout the whole body, easing tension and improving overall mobility. The class will help you to create strength and flexibility in a challenging yet totally accessible way. Rooted in the breath and with a firm focus on the correct placement of the body, we take a fully rounded approach to the practice helping you to calm the nervous system and steady the mind. You will leave the space feeling grounded, energised and more open!
In this session we will target the key ‘problem areas’ that we see crop up all the time – from hips to hamstrings, tight neck to knees, we’ve got you covered. The aim of this class is exactly what it says – with consistency we can help you achieve better mobility, less aches, pains and tension. You will be safely guided through a series of postures that open up the body. We use the breath as a tool to release into each pose and also place focus on calming the mind and easing stress.
