Hello and welcome to Carter & George! We are delighted to have our website up and running and our practice under construction. In a few short weeks we will be delivering elite physiotherapy to the Hertfordshire community and we couldn’t be more excited.
We want to make physiotherapy a viable treatment for everybody: not just professional sportspeople. Its benefits are real and wide-ranging: from decreasing pain, improving mobility, and increasing strength and coordination. Whether you are suffering with a chronic illness, recovering from an injury or have tight muscles that could benefit from freezing, manipulating or stretching, we want to help you reach your health and wellness goals.
Our practice will offer a range of services designed with our clients’ needs in mind. We will be using state-of-the-art equipment and a highly qualified team of professionals to deliver the best standard of care. If you are unsure as to whether we can help you, visit our ‘Contact Us’ page to enquire about our services or make an appointment.
I am Rhys Carter, a trained consultant physiotherapist specialising in chronic back and neck pain and sports injury. As a Functional Movement Specialist and Sports Performance Therapist, I work with both athletes and the general public. Most recently, I worked overseas with the Singapore Institute of Sport and with Dragons Rugby in Dubai. I always like to focus on the underlying causes of pain as opposed to the short-term relief of symptoms, so that my clients are back at their physical peak as quickly as possible without the risk of relapse.
My business partner is pro Rugby star Jamie George. Jamie has made over 170 appearances for Saracens, and has been part of the senior England squad since 2015. Off the pitch, Jamie is a trustee of the Saracens Sports Foundation: a charity that uses sport to educate the local community about the benefits of good health, fitness and wellbeing. At our practice, Jamie will play a central role in encouraging the community to take care of their health and participate in sporting and wellness activities that will benefit their mental and physical wellbeing. We will be running free community events that everybody can get involved in.
We want this blog to be a place where we share useful advice and information that our clients can use to improve their everyday routine and wellbeing. We look forward to having you join us on our mission to improve the health of our community, and look forward to meeting you at our practice.
