The Current Situation of Healthcare in the UK

This is the highest number ever recorded and has been caused by increased demand on services due to the pandemic as well as chronic underfunding and staff shortages.

An opinion poll commissioned by BBC Scotland suggests that one in five people who responded have paid for private medical care within the past year, either for themselves or a family member.
