A New Approach to Movement: Physiotherapy and Reformer Pilates Coming to Welwyn Garden City

A New Approach to Movement: Physiotherapy and Reformer Pilates Coming to Welwyn Garden City

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing ongoing aches and pains, looking to improve your strength or simply want to feel more confident in your movement, we're creating a welcoming space to support you.

Our vision is simple: to bring expert physiotherapy and movement-focused exercise together under one roof, helping people move better, build strength and stay active.

Physiotherapy that puts you first

No two people move in exactly the same way and no two injuries are identical. That's why physiotherapy should be tailored to you.

At our Welwyn Garden City clinic, physiotherapy will focus on understanding your symptoms, identifying factors contributing to your difficulties and creating a personalised plan to support your recovery.

Physiotherapy may help with:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Sports injuries

  • Muscle and joint pain

  • Rehabilitation following surgery

  • Recurring injuries

  • Mobility and movement difficulties

  • Strength and confidence following injury

Whether you're an enthusiastic runner, spend long hours sitting at a desk or want to keep up with your grandchildren, our goal is to help you get back to the activities that matter most.

Discover the benefits of Reformer Pilates

Alongside our physiotherapy clinic, we're opening a dedicated Reformer Pilates studio.

Reformer Pilates uses a specialist piece of equipment with a moving carriage, springs and straps to provide adjustable resistance and support.

It's a versatile form of exercise that can help develop:

  • Strength and muscular endurance

  • Balance and coordination

  • Flexibility and mobility

  • Body awareness and movement control

  • Confidence in everyday movement

One of the things we love about Reformer Pilates is its adaptability. Exercises can be modified to suit different experience levels, abilities and goals.

Whether you're completely new to Pilates or already enjoy regular classes, our studio will provide an opportunity to challenge yourself, develop your strength and enjoy moving.

Why bring physiotherapy and Reformer Pilates together?

We believe that feeling better and moving better often go hand in hand.

Physiotherapy can help identify and manage pain, injuries and movement difficulties. Reformer Pilates can provide a structured way to build strength, improve control and develop greater confidence in movement.

For some people, Pilates may complement a physiotherapy rehabilitation programme. For others, it's simply an enjoyable way to stay active.

Having both services available in one location creates opportunities for a more connected approach to movement and wellbeing.

Importantly, Reformer Pilates isn't a replacement for physiotherapy or medical treatment. If you're managing an injury or health condition, an individual assessment can help determine which activities are appropriate.
