No. You don’t need to have a diagnosis before booking an appointment. Your clinician will listen to your symptoms and medical history, assess your movement and function, and help identify what may be contributing to your problem. From there, they can explain their findings and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.

If you have a new injury, pain or problem with your movement and aren’t sure where to start, book an Initial Physiotherapy Assessment. Your clinician can assess your symptoms and recommend the most appropriate next steps for you.

Yes. Physiotherapy isn’t only for recent injuries. Our clinicians regularly work with people experiencing persistent or recurring problems. We’ll look at factors that may be contributing to your symptoms and develop a personalised plan designed to improve your movement, build strength and help you manage your condition with greater confidence.

Yes. We treat sports injuries in people of all ages and abilities, from recreational runners and gym-goers to competitive athletes. We can help with assessment, rehabilitation and your gradual return to training or sport, with a programme tailored to your injury and goals.

In most cases, you can book an appointment with a physiotherapist directly without seeing your GP first. If you’re using private medical insurance, however, your insurer may have its own referral or authorisation requirements, so it’s worth checking your policy before booking.
