Weight Loss and Toning

Our trainers are experienced in creating effective weight loss programs that also focus on muscle toning and shaping. They understand the science of fat loss and muscle development, and can help you achieve a lean, toned physique.

Weight loss training often incorporates a combination of cardiovascular and strength training, all underpinned by sports science led principles of HR training zones.

Strength and Conditioning

If your goal is to increase muscular strength and endurance, our trainers are well-versed in the principles of strength and conditioning. A conditioning coach can guide you through workouts that will challenge your muscles, boost your strength, perfect your movement quality and improve your physical performance.

Injury Rehabilitation

We have trainers who specialize in rehabilitation training. They can work with you to design a program that helps you recover from injuries, regain your muscle mass and core stability, restore movement quality and get back to your regular activities safely and effectively, and ideally with improved performance.

Marathon Training

If you’re preparing for a marathon or other endurance event, we have trainers who specialize in endurance training. They can create a program that builds your stamina, incorporates relevant strength training, improves your running technique, and prepares you physically and mentally for the challenge ahead.

We work with new runners and elite level marathon runners to help improve performance and reduce the risk of injury.

Special Populations

Some of our trainers have specialized training in working with special populations, such as the elderly, pregnant women, or individuals with chronic conditions. They can design safe, effective workouts that take into account your unique needs, fitness level and limitations.

What can you expect from a Personal Training Session?

A personal training session/conditioning training session spans 45 minutes, during which your unique needs and personal goals are the main focus. Our expert professionals determine and evaluate your personalized plan on an individual basis and based on your current fitness level.

We ensure that you are an integral part of the process; our personal trainers discuss both your immediate and future objectives with you, collaborate with other healthcare professionals (including your physiotherapist when necessary) for consistent guidelines, and design a training regimen that perfectly fits your requirements.

We are fortunate to have personal trainers in Hitchin, Hertford and Radlett practices.

We also offer specialist training packages, including Metabolic Testing, our EVOLVE programme, Pilates, and small group Pilates and fitness classes.
