Maddie Hayes

Maddie has always been interested in the movement, the human body, and how it works. This, alongside a passion for sports and fitness, led to her completing a degree in Clinical Exercise Prescription at Bournemouth University, from which she graduated in 2018.

Maddie has also played football from the age of 10, and has played for Devon and the Bournemouth University team. She also runs half marathons, and has the goal to complete a full marathon in the next few years.
Since graduating, Maddie has been working as a Personal Trainer at a number of health clubs, working with a variety of clients to achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals – before starting as  Strength & Conditioning Coach with The Carter & George Practice. At the clinic, Maddie works alongside the Physiotherapists to help accelerate recovery from injuries, and prevent them from recurring. Maddie is also studying to complete her Metabolic and Physiology qualifications, enabling her to take Metabolic Tests and design data-led exercise programmes.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching football – especially Arsenal Women – as well as lifting weights, reading and going on long walks.
Maddie is our Lead strength & conditioning coach and personal trainer in Hitchin.
