Will Harding

With a Masters in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham and a background in Human Biology from Loughborough University, Will brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to The Carter & George Practice. His journey in physiotherapy began with a placement year at the England & Wales Cricket Board, where he honed his skills working with players at every level, from development squads to the international stage.

Throughout his professional career, Will has gained valuable experience in a variety of settings, including sports, the NHS, and private practice. Specializing in high-level return-to-sport rehabilitation, he has successfully guided numerous athletes through the challenging journey of recovering from injuries, particularly anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries. His work in the NHS involved collaborating with a specialised team to rehabilitate ACL patients, from post-op. recovery to their triumphant return to sports.

Will’s approach to physiotherapy focusses on you as an individual. By assessing your current ability, and working with you to gain a thorough understanding of your goal/sporting requirements, he is able to make bespoke rehabilitation plans that match your current level, and ensure you’re progressing towards success. He believes in utilising exercise therapy to build your body back up to doing what it needs to do, and then treatment adjuncts and manual techniques when required to help manage pain and encourage a faster return to your activities. You can expect regular assessments of progress utilising objective testing means, and a truly collaborative approach ensuring that you feel free to engage in the decisions made during your sessions.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Will’s love for fitness and sports extends into his personal life. You’ll often find him running, cycling, or hitting the gym, pursuing his passion for an active lifestyle. When he’s not on the move, he enjoys indulging his culinary skills and expanding his linguistic horizons.
