Headaches affect roughly 2/3 of the population each year. They can be caused by several different factors and therefore difficult to diagnose and treat. However, research shows most headaches can be attributed to structures in the neck, postural changes or increased stress. These headaches can often be felt at the top of the neck, back of the head, the temples, forehead and behind the eyes.

We use gentle mobilization of joints, muscles, electrotherapy and acupuncture to help reduce headaches. We will also offer advice on ergonomic set up, relaxation techniques and exercises to ensure they don’t return.

Of course, there are other reasons that can cause headaches. We work closely with local GPs and neurologists if we suspect further investigation is necessary.
