Pilates is a method of exercise designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. It focuses on postural symmetry, core stability, breathing, flexibility and strengthening of all joints. Pilates has become an important method of training, fitness and physical rehabilitation for people of all ages, body shapes and fitness levels.
We have a dedicated studio built for individual sessions or group classes
There are different types of Pilates sessions that we offer:
Group Mat Pilates classes last approximately 1 hour and will help you activate your core muscles in a class setting, although individual attention is given to all members of the group. A relaxed environment with class sizes no bigger than 8.
Pre-Natal Pilates for soon to be mums is perfect to help strengthen pelvic floor muscles and reduce back pain associated with the postural changes of pregnancy. It is also beneficial for those delivering by C Section as strong abdominals can reduce the recovery time.
If you would prefer to do 1-1 or 1-2 sessions, we offer individual classes with our instructor.
